The Association of Bargemen
Founded in 1975 the Association is open to all who have an interest in Thames sailing barges.
100 years ago there was a fleet of over 2000 barges,
Now only a handful remain, lovingly maintained, rebuilt and operated by private individuals, companies and charitable trusts - but they all need your help and support!

With over 100 current members, the AOB is looking at expanding it membership! Anyone with an interest or a connection to barges, or anyone who simply wants to help support the fleet should become a member!
